Zeeshaan Shah recently visited the OPEN Silicon Valley Annual Summit in Palo Alto, California.
The annual summit is the largest gathering of tech entrepreneurs and professionals of Pakistani descent, with over 1000 industry leaders in attendance. Zeeshaan Shah hosted two exclusive sessions focused on investment and opportunities in Pakistan.
Shah highlighted key opportunities within Pakistan’s growing tech sector and invited Silicon Valley’s industry leaders to grow their footprint in Pakistan. Many shared their positive experiences of operating in Pakistan and reaffirmed that the country had the potential to be a global technology hub.
The private sessions with Shah featured industry giants including Najeeb Ghauri (Netsol, Pakistan), Raghib Hussain (Marvell), Safwan Shah (PayActiv), and Ansar Junaid (Supplyside Group).
Pleased with the overwhelming response by the industry leaders during the Summit, Zeeshaan said, “The USA is the largest export market for Pakistani IT services, and this is due to the successful diaspora we have in Silicon Valley. Pakistani entrepreneurs and professionals are leading the way in the valley and delivering on their responsibility to create opportunities for the next generation of Pakistanis.”
He added, “I presented a selection of key investment opportunities to develop technology parks within Pakistan’s leading universities, which received a very positive response, and I look forward to concluding these deals.”
